EXODUS Guitarist Comments On Upcoming Tour With KREATOR

San Francisco Bay Area thrash veterans EXODUS will return to touring early next year in support of 2007's "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A" with Germany's KREATOR, Austria's BELPHEGOR, and California's WARBRINGER.

EXODUS guitarist/songwriter Gary Holt checks in from his home in Northern California with the following:

"If you can believe it, we've NEVER toured with KREATOR even though Mille and I go WAY back. We've played occasional festivals together and played five shows back in '97 on Summer Metal Meeting with them. We've always had a LOT of fun with them, so I'm looking forward to spending time with old friends KREATOR, new friends WARBRINGER, and soon-to-be-good-friends BELPHEGOR.

"We're pretty damned happy to be playing nine shows in Canada because Canadian cities tend to get overlooked. The last time we were in Winnipeg, Calgary, and another city which I can't remember right now, those shows were full of 17-year-olds and they went insane. Those dates were the best on that tour!"

EXODUS' next album, "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit B", is due out by summer 2009.

EXODUS recently completed work on a re-recording of its classic 1985 debut album, "Bonded by Blood". Produced by guitarist Gary Holt, the new CD — entitled "Let There Be Blood" — was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California; JKZ Production Studio in San Rafael, California; with vocal tracks recorded at J. Rod Production Studios in New City, New York. Andy Sneap mixed the CD at his Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England. An October 28, 2008 release through Zaentz Records is expected.
